The Garlic Gourd Baskets are masterfully handwoven by the women and men  Zimbabwe, using natural material ilala palm. Each basket can take up to 2 weeks to make.

The shape of a Garlic base vary as each design is unique to the weaver and requires skills that has been passed down from generation to generation. Being handmade these baskets are perfectly imperfect, organic in shape and size. As a result, our website photos are a close representation of the items available, but may not be identical to the ones you receive.
